LED Lamps

LED replacement for incandescent bulbs in STS Signals key-switches. The ‘next generation’ of LED filament lamps has been developed by STS Signals as a direct replacement for filament bulbs in keyboard and custom keypanel products. The T1¾ sized, midget groove LED filament lamps offer the following technical benefits:

• Improved brightness and colour temperature superior to incandescent bulbs.
• Flat top design offers wide angle viewing and avoids pin-point illumination and hot spots.
• 10 fold increase in product lifetime, with MTBF of 100,000 hours of illumination (equivalent to over 11 years continuous use based on 250C ambient temperature).
• LEDs use around 70% less energy than filament bulbs with reduced running costs.
• Solid state unit features a single high-intensity warm white LED.
• Unique integral circuitry allows operation up to 60V dc without decreasing lifetime.

Although more expensive than incandescent bulbs, LED lamps offer maintenance free benefits since their service life is normally greater than the life of the system into which they are fitted.
